Luckily, Blogger have come up with a simple fix for this problem for those who use Layouts templates: the

tag!

This new tag is already installed for new blogs (or if you change your existing template to one of Blogger's default ones).

However, if you have customized your template or uploaded a third party template, you will need to change the original

<data:blog.pageTitle/>

to the new

<data:blog.pageName/>

tag for this change to take effect.

But don't worry: this is REALLY easy! Here's what you have to do:

1. Go to Layout > edit HTML in your Blogger dashboard.
2. Search for this tag:

<data:blog.pageTitle/>

3. Replace this tag with the following:

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;index&quot;'>
<title><data:blog.title/></title>

<title><data:blog.pageName/></title>
</b:if>

4. Save your template! (See, this is an easy hack!)

how lose 10 pounds in a week

I desperately needed to lose weight for my wedding. I have lost 13 pounds on the first week, and 10 pounds on the second. This is quite a short time for losing weight, and not very healthy, I know. However, this quick weight loss success was a kick-start for my weight loss journey, and it motivated me to keep losing weight, following natural and healthy methods later. I am going to share every single step I followed on the second week, that helped me to lose 10 pounds in 7 days.
Please keep in mind that extremely fast weight loss is never healthy.
Here are the steps I followed after the first 7 days, to lose 10 pounds in a week:
1) First, I had a day of detox - to cleanse my body and lose weight even faster. I prepared a drink of lemon juice, ginger and honey mixed with water, and drank this detox drink during the day. Whenever hungry, I just drank it. I felt good, as I normally do, no cramps, no lack of energy, nothing. This was not hard at all, and I am sure it boosted my weight loss results. I know some people do the whole week of detox, but this is not for me.
2) I limited the amounts of foods, because I really needed to lose weight so fast. I had plenty of vegetables, lean meat, fish, eggs, and some fruits (mostly apples and oranges). My new rule of eating was this: half of the plate should be veggies (just tried to avoid too much potato), ¼ of the plate - white meat or fish, and the rest can be fruit (no bananas because they are too sweet and starchy). I know that eating less is not always an option for a long lasting weight loss. But it surely is an option for fast weight loss, and that`s what my goal was. An easier way to reduce the amount of food is to get a smaller plate. However, eating less was pretty hard, I admit. But I reached my goal, and I am so happy now.
3) I added 2 apples an one can of black beans to my daily diet. I had the beans as my main meal, or split them into 2 smaller meals and had with veggies on the side. This is a trick that no diets tell. And it works wonders, because 35 grams of fiber in a daily diet truly supercharges weight loss. These fibers clean the digestive tract and improve digestion.
4) I started to eat breakfast and stopped eating at night. 7 PM was the latest time of the day when I had my dinner. Breakfast boosted my metabolism and helped me to burn calories faster, although I never believed it could be so important for weight loss. It kept me energized as well. I got at least 10 glasses of water during the day, and I still do - water cleanses the body, increases metabolic rate, and does not let you feel hungry.
5) I distributed my usual calorie intake during the day. I started to eat 5 times a day, having smaller meals. This way I never had to go hungry.
6) I limited fat, sweet and not so healthy food, and whenever I felt like I need to eat something unhealthy, I moved those meals to the first part of the day. Because metabolism is higher in the morning compared to the evening, and this let me eat a donut or ice cream once every few days.
7) Instead of drinking juice, I had a fresh fruit every time. Juice is too sweet for weight loss, if you`re thirsty, get some water or unsweetened green tea.
8) I kept myself motivated and busy all the time. I know that when you`re busy, you have no time to go to the kitchen. This works wonders.
This plan might sound too simple to lose 10 pounds in a week - but follow this plan religiously, and you will see real results.

A well written blog post with great content can be ruined by poor formatting. Making your post as reader-friendly as possible is very important in keeping your readers. 1. The Headline
   The single most important part of a post is the headline. This is what sums up the gist of what the post is about. 2. The Opening Paragraph

The only difference is that you are often not required to have an author by-line at the end of the article. Most free PLR articles are not very good quality so you will most likely have to go through lots of articles to find something usable. PLR articles which are of higher quality are not free but are less costly than hiring a freelance writer. Quality PLR articles are often packaged as many articles on a topic selling for a flat fee. The incidence of duplicate content is also reduced. There are also membership sites where you pay a monthly subscription to get a certain number of articles in various niches.
   
3. Re-write Free And PLR Articles

First time to start a blog? Or just starting a new one? You  should look at this checklist on how to start a blog and live a majestic life out of it. You don’t want to do my mistakes again, right?

1. Determine what you will be blogging about

Just imagine a racecar driver without a map. Of course, he’ll be lost right? It’s the same as in blogging. You don’t know what you’re blogging about, you don’t know your niche. Your blog will quickly die. So, start off by picking a niche but be sure it’s a broad one that you can blog about for years.

2. Think of a catchy, entertaining and easy to remember title

Now, invent something that makes someone curious when they see it. Make it catchy, that will make them laugh. Invent a cool brand that’ll make them blog about you.
Take this blog’s brand for example. When you see a link that says “Make Money Online” Will you click it? More likely, you’ll not because there are tons of sites that talk about make money online but if I add little twist like “Make Money Online with a 13-year old” Will you click it? ;)

3. Buy a domain name that is related to your title

AND is easy to remember! Domain names matter nowadays because there are tons of sites swarming the web. How could a person remember your domain that says makemoneyonlinewithsomethingsomething.com? So always keep it short, the shorter the better. Try hunting domains with 2-3 words.

4. Choose a blogging platform

Try considering your needs and budget. For example you just need a simple blog and you don’t have a budget for a cheap $20 web host try blogger or blogspot.com :P It’s easier to run and can be indexed by search engines much easier but if you’re the kind of guy who needs a lot of plugins and themes. I recommend WordPress, hands down. If you’ve chosen a free hosted blogging platform, ignore step 5.

5. Find a reliable web host

Who likes to visit a site that always gives you a “sorry, can’t connect messages” Its ok at first but when it hits a reader 2 or more times it gets irritating.
You might as well find a reliable web host. Ask forums for their suggestions. Review the web host first and remember that 99.9% uptime and 99.5% uptime is a big difference!

6. Find a flexible theme and EDIT it

Your blog’s design is part of your blog’s brand. If you know a little bit of CSS and some html, try editing some cool themes or if you’re not just in to designing. You could hire someone at elance.com. Just remember to be unique.

7. Sign-up for a Web Analytics

Another thing that’s very important about web analytics is that you can track where your visitors came. Is it Referral? – Visitors referred by other sites. Direct? • Is my domain easy to remember?
• Do I really like this blogging platform?

• Do I have a unique theme?
• Did I sign up for a web analytics?
• Did I make a cool first post?
• Are my answers to the above questions are yes?

If not, go back to number 1.

10. Start posting REAL content – The REAL Challenge

Right, it’s now time to research and blog about your niche. Keep your promises, research and be sure about your facts and give them the REAL content. Remember that it’s not that easy to blog like what most bloggers think. It can burn you out so be prepared!
Also, a blog is for you to share your thoughts on a specific topic. Your not CNN, don’t write like you’re writing a book for schools. Pull off some jokes, catchy tag lines or some cool sayings maybe.

11. Socialize with other bloggers

Now you got the content, it’s time to show them to other people. Start off by socializing with bloggers like you. Make friends with them but don’t give too much trust. The internet is a scam world. Don’t give personal data, passwords, or even your analytics report, but I do have one thing to suggest “Be your self”

12. Build readership

Cool! You drove hundreds of visitors to your blog in just a week! Are they coming back? Or they’re just passing by and leaving like they haven’t seen you’re blog? Regular readers are your goldmine. They’re easier to but from you and they”ll even help you when you’re down or losing! Be sure to give them special treatment. Like a linklove post for your regular readers.

13. Monetize!

Predictions for 2011 Investment

The end of the year is approaching, which means that everyone is busy making guesses about what next year will bring. Rather than crank up the pandemonium further with new predictions of my own, I thought I'd cull some of my favorite predictions from around the investment world (and beyond).

1. Facebook loves eBay!
A Wall Street Journal blog took its forecasting question to venture capitalists and company CEOs to see what they thought was ahead for 2011. My favorite headline they came up with? "Facebook Buys eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY)." My fellow Fool Dan Dzombak recently pegged Facebook's informal valuation at around $56 billion, while eBay's current market value is just $37 billion. Will it happen? Probably not, but it's so off-the-wall that I'm definitely rooting for it.

2. Cyberwarfare
Computerworld ran a list of "10 IT-related predictions for 2011" and while there were a few of interest, "cyberwarfare becomes reality" jumped out. Early in 2010, Google was fending off attacks coming from China; more recently, we saw PayPal, Visa (NYSE: V), and MasterCard (NYSE: MA) come under fire from WikiLeaks supporters. The Computerworld predictions suggest that these nasty virtual skirmishes will only increase in 2011. Might this mean that data security companies like McAfee and Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) could be back at the fore?

3. Panthers get Luck-y
Bleacher Report took a stab at predicting the NFL's 2011 draft and prophesied that the Carolina Panthers would use the No. 1 draft pick on Stanford's Andrew Luck. But didn't Carolina just draft Jimmy Clausen? Yes, but Bleacher Report didn't think much of that move: "Carolina made the mistake of drafting Clausen last year and they're going to make up for it by drafting someone much better." Ouch.

4. Gold gets pummeled
Admittedly, I like this one because I agree with it. As I've pointed out in the past, I just don't think that there's justification for gold at these levels, let alone anything higher. There are a lot of folks talking about a pullback in gold. CNBC's Bob Pisani made it part of his 2011 predictions, saying that gold will drop 20% even as other commodities rally, while TheStreet.com contributor Doug Kass said the metal will finish the year between $1,100 and $1,200 an ounce. Does that mean it's finally time to unload those SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD)? To be fair to gold fans, who have probably already had enough of hearing this prediction, plenty of folks thought gold would fall in 2010 -- and that didn't exactly prove true.

5. Global blue light special
My fellow Fool Tim Hanson -- who runs the Motley Fool Global Gains newsletter -- called Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) his favorite international pick for 2011. Yes, you read that right: his favorite international pick. As Tim points out, the company has big plans for countries like China and Brazil, and its stock is trading at a bargain valuation. As a Wal-Mart shareholder myself, I'm giving this call two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

6. Income inequality will decline drastically
Or at least that's what scientist Michael Pupin predicted for 2011 in a New York Times article in 1931. He said:

    This civilization is the greatest material achievement of applied science during this memorable period. Its power for creating wealth was never equaled in human history. But it lacks the wisdom of distributing equitably the wealth which it creates. One can safely prophesy that during the next eighty years this civilization will correct this deficiency by creating an industrial democracy which will guarantee to the worker an equitable share in the wealth produced by his work.

That hasn't exactly happened; the past few decades have seen income equality widen drastically. But who knows? Maybe 2011 will surprise us!

7. Bears treated for laryngitis?
Emboldened by the 2010 gains, many forecasters are predicting good things for the stock market in 2011. Estimates from 11 strategists that Bloomberg rounded up suggest another year of double-digit percentage gains for the S&P 500 -- and they're far from alone. BlackRock's Robert Doll sees the S&P closing 2011 at 1,350, Laszlo Birinyi is looking for 1,333, and Blackstone's Byron Wien thinks the index could go as high as 1,565.

8. The King of the Oscars
Entertainment Weekly blogger Dave Karger recently updated his Oscar predictions in the wake of the Screen Actors Guild nominations. His pick for best picture? The King's Speech, with The Social Network and Inception following at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. Which reminds me -- I need to get out to the movies!

9. Another bite of the Apple
Sick of hearing about Steve Jobs and Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) yet? Well, if IDC is correct, we'll probably be hearing plenty more about the company. Among the research firm's 2011 predictions, it forecasts that "non-PC mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets will outsell PCs within the next 18 months." Apple wasn't named specifically, but I'll go out on a limb and say that it will be a prime beneficiary if this pans out.

10. To the moon with oil
In his "4 Bold Energy Predictions for 2011," Motley Fool energy maven Toby Shute sees oil potentially catching a tailwind that could bring it back into the triple digits. The move will push investors to speculate on lesser-quality energy companies, and won't have a happy ending for investors that get too caught up.

Interestingly, Denmark's Saxo Bank, in its "outrageous" predictions for 2011, said something very similar: "Crude oil gushes above $100/barrel, then falls by one-third."

11. Pie
I love stocks and investing, but I also love to eat. And in the battle for my favorite 2011 prediction, the latter won out. In its 2011 predictions for food trends, restaurant and hotel consulting firm Andrew Freeman & Company had this to say:

A Free Service for Checking a Used Car’s History

It's even easier (and free to boot) to learn more about a used car's history - especially if it's been flooded. The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) has created a new Web-based service with total-loss data for consumers called VINCheck. (Editor's note - this link has been updated since the original publication.)
NICB's VINCheck is a service provided to the public to assist in determining if a vehicle has been reported as stolen, but not recovered, or has been reported as a previously declared total loss vehicle by cooperating NICB members. To perform a search a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is required. A maximum of 5 VINCheck searches can be conducted within a 24-hour period.
"This is a step in the right direction, but because the information is limited, we still need federal legislation that would expand total-loss disclosure," said Ivette Rivera, National Automobile Dealers Association's executive director of legislative affairs, in a news release promoting the new website. "We would like all insurers and rental car companies to leverage existing technology, such as vehicle history reports, to keep dangerous, rebuilt cars and trucks off the road to truly protect consumers."

How To Use Apple’s Magic Mouse on a Windows PC

Apple’s hardware is notorious for having elegant designs backed by innovative engineering. From their desktops (like iMacs) to handheld devices (like the iPods), every single piece of hardware is an example of excellent craftsmanship.
So is the case with their newly unveiled Magic Mouse, which replaced their previous Mighty Mouse in their mainstream desktop lineup. The Magic Mouse’s main highlight isn’t its curved design or the elegant build – it’s what features it packs. The whole surface of the mouse is a capacitive sensor giving you full multi-touch control over your Mac.
Unfortunately, those in the Windows PC camp (which includes Bootcamp users) were left in the cold because the mouse only worked with Apple’s machines. And to make things worse, the only devices with similar functionality for the PC market are a couple of engineering prototypes by Microsoft – which even though are far more advanced, would still require lots of time before going mainstream.
Thankfully to fill in this gap, a couple of wonderful people from UnEasySilence have managed to make their Magic Mouse work on computers running Microsoft Windows. Here is a simple how-to guide for you to get the same functionality on your machine.

The Guide

First of all, you will need the hardware for this job. This includes an Apple Magic Mouse that will run you $69 from the Apple Store. And you will also need a Bluetooth 2.0 adapter in your computer. If you have notebook, then you probably have one built in, but if you’re on a desktop or don’t have one in your notebook, then you can easily get one for around $20.
Next, you need to setup your Bluetooth. Connect your adapter with your PC and install the hardware drivers. Pair up the Magic Mouse with your Windows from the Bluetooth Manager. Your mouse should now work as a standard two button mouse without any scrolling or multi-touch features.
To enable touch sensitive scrolling, you need to install a hacked Bluetooth driver for the Magic Mouse. By hacked, it means it was modified to run on non Apple hardware. The actual driver was released by Apple as a Bluetooth Update for the iMac lineup to make the older models compatible with the new mouse.
The BootCamp version of the drivers were extracted from the Apple update by the people at UnEasySilence and slightly modified to run on non-Apple hardware. The drivers are available for both 32-bit (download) and 64-bit (download) version of Windows and work with everything from Windows XP up till Windows 7.
After installing the drivers, vertical scrolling should now work in Windows. Of course since this isn’t an official driver, you may run into some issues. Some applications still don’t accept the scroll input, while some even work with horizontal scrolling.
If the above drivers don’t work for your system, then you can try out Microsoft’s IntelliPoint SideWinder X8 drivers for your system. A lot of people have reported successful horizontal and vertical scrolling after using these drivers. Remember to share your experience in the comments section below.

How to Fix Your Credit Score aka I Like My Debt Grade

Do you have a low credit score and are you finding hard to navigate in the financial ocean of debt and borrowing?

If you are reading this article then you want a credit score over 750. Remember that the credit score is simply a barometer of borrowing lots of money and paying it off.

   **How do I increase my credit score?**
   
   Determine your smallest debt you have. Pay the loan down as low as you can. Try to cancel any credit cards you have had for less than 6 months. Make sure you are paying all your other bills on time. Order a copy of your credit report. Review all the information and verify that it is absolutely correct. Create a filing system for all your credit score documents.

   **How do I stop increasing my debts?**
   
   Remind yourself that your credit score is a "I like my Debt" grade. Borrow money and pay it back to have a good score. Convince yourself that you do not want to have a high debt score. Proactively make more payments; the more payments the better. Eat less takeout for lunch and stop spending money hanging out at Chili's and Friday's on the weekends. You cannot afford it. Stop increasing your debts and lowering your score.

   **How do I know whether to cancel accounts?**
   
   Next month your credit score should go down several points. Stop using the credit cards. Get a part-time job and make extra money. Sell something. Remember that FICO means I love debt. Cancel the accounts of cards that are less than six months old. Keep the card accounts open if you want to keep running up your credit balances. Spend less time worrying about the credit score and more time paying down the debts.

What to Do If I Want to Find Out My Credit Score

The information in a credit report is used to help calculate a credit score. A high credit score can mean better credit options, such as lower interest rates and higher credit limits. Part of maintaining a credit score is monitoring it annually.

Who Calculates Credit Score

1. Credit scores are often referred to as FICO scores. The majority of scores given to consumers by credit bureaus are produced from software developed by Fair Isaac and Company. Lenders obtain credit score information from the major credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. Scores may be different depending on the credit bureau and the information contained in the credit report from the bureau.

2. The Fair Credit Reporting Act allows consumers a free copy of their credit report annually from the three major bureaus. The credit score is not included. The information in the credit report can be used as a guideline for determining a credit score. Payment history, credit utilization, type of credit and credit inquiries all affect a credit score. Will My Credit Score Drop If I Order My Credit Report?

The Fair Credit Reporting Act governs nationwide credit reporting agencies and consumers' rights to check their credit scores. Ordering a credit report generally does not have an impact on a consumer's credit score, with some exceptions.

1. Nationwide credit reporting agencies like Equifax and Experian have to provide consumers with a free copy of their credit report at least once every 12 months, according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. These annual credit report orders do not affect a consumer's credit score.

Effects

2. Consumers who order multiple copies of a credit report in a year might experience minor deductions on their credit score. According to myFICO, one additional inquiry a year can reduce a credit score by five points.

3. Ordering your credit report annually can be an effective way to check for any errors on your report. Multiple inquiries in a year, however, can appear suspicious and have a slight effect on your credit score. Stick to the federally regulated one credit report a year to keep your credit score in check.
